Paloma Melé
Paloma is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience spanning AI, institutional finance, energy, and sustainability, with a career that bridges top-tier investment banking and high-growth technology leadership.
She combines deep expertise in natural resources and capital markets—built over 15+ years in investment banking—with hands-on experience in AI-driven sustainability solutions. Over the past six years, she has worked closely with leading asset managers, asset owners, wealth managers, and global banks, bringing a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams.
Paloma currently serves as VP of Strategy at Clarity AI, a leading AI-powered sustainability platform for institutional investors and financial institutions, backed by BlackRock, Deutsche Börse, SoftBank, and Balderton Capital. In this role, she drives strategic initiatives at the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability.
Prior to this, she spent over 15 years in investment banking, specialising in energy and natural resources. As Director at Hannam & Partners, she led the Energy team and advised on complex transactions across oil & gas and power, delivering strategic and capital markets solutions to corporates, investors, and governments.
Earlier in her career, Paloma was Vice President in the Natural Resources team at J.P. Morgan, where she advised on more than 15 M&A and financing transactions across EMEA. She also gained experience in the Structured Products team, executing over 10 securitisation transactions, further strengthening her technical expertise across asset classes.
She began her career with internships at Boston Consulting Group (Consumer and Energy practices) and Cuatrecasas (International Tax Law), receiving full-time offers from both institutions.
Paloma holds dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), graduating top of her class with distinction.
She is a native Spanish speaker, bilingual in English (with over 20 years of professional experience in London), bilingual in German (top academic distinction), and has working knowledge of French.
She recently earned the Google Gemini Professional Certificate, along with JB Sales certifications in Filling the Funnel, Driving to Close, and Driving Results for Customer Success, further reinforcing her commercial and technological skill set.
